A magnificent Cru white wine in the Burgundian style, crafted from aged Garganega and Trebbiano vines. This enchanting blend of crushed oyster shell and smoke reveals notes of apricot and sesame. The silky texture of the fruit is complemented by saline minerals and a medley of savory, exotic spices. Hints of green apple and lemon oil persist indefinitely.

Alessandro Castellani of Ca’ La Bionda gained experience as a winemaker in the cellars of Chateau Margaux, Isole e Olena, and a prestigious array of top European estates before returning to manage his family’s small certified organic farm in Valpolicella. It is perhaps unsurprising that these wines embody the Veneto’s interpretation of Burgundian Pinot Noir. All of Alessandro’s wines—whether it be the Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso, or Amarone—exhibit a level of sophistication, minerality, and balance that, in our experience, is unparalleled in the region.
