Barbera d’Alba Maria Gioana

 16,70

Some of the finest Barbera grapes cultivated in our vineyards located in Canavere, Madonna Como, and Bordini are vinified separately and aged in small French oak barrels. Following this, the wine is allowed to mature in the bottle for several months, during which its remarkable characteristics are finalized, balanced, and enhanced.

The extended aging process in the bottle serves as an unparalleled assurance. The name of this wine is derived from an ancient local Piedmontese song, which narrates the story of a woman named Maria Gioana, who enjoyed drinking wine, and through this, all her troubles were alleviated without the assistance of a physician.

Of course, it is possible to give the wines online via Wines of Eden as gifts to family, friends, acquaintances or business relations.

Please feel free to contact us to hear about the possibilities.
