Wine is the Doublet family’s passion, and they have been based in Bordeaux since the end of the 18th century. Château Vignol in the Entre-Deux-Mers and Château Tour de Calens in the Graves are owned by Bernard and Dominique Doublet, while their sons Alexandre and Jean-Thomas are winemakers at Château Saint-Ange in Saint-Émillion. The estate was possessed by none other than the political philosopher Montesquieu in the 18th century, which makes Château Vignol unique.
The estate also produces red, rosé, and clairet wines, although today it is most known for its white Entre-Deux-Mers.
