Château Vignol has been in the possession of the Doublet family since the end of the 18th century. Bernard and Dominique Doublet are the current owners of Château Vignol, which is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers, about 15 kilometres from Saint Emilion.
The vineyards, 7 hectares in total, are planted with 15-year-old vines. The soil here consists of limestone with a top layer of gravel.

The red Bordeaux is made from a classic red Bordeaux blend consisting of predominantly Merlot with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The wine is partly aged in steel and partly in oak, which makes the wine somewhat firmer in structure, but retains its fruitiness. A classic red Bordeaux. Beautiful complex wine with a harmonious scent of strawberries, candied plums, vanilla, caramel and roasted almonds. Mouth-filling with a round velvety taste with ripe tannin and beautiful wood tones. This wine combines well with classic meat dishes
