Gruner Veltliner Kamptal Dechant – Fichtenbauer Mold

 8,45

The special weather conditions of the Ried Dechant have a great influence on the development of this powerful Grüner Veltliner. In the north, the location is strongly protected from the wind by a stand of trees. This allows the grapes to ripen quickly and the acidity to remain mild. After the harvest, the wine is stored in wooden barrels on fine yeast for at least a year, which allows it to develop into a round and characterful wine. This Grüner Veltliner has a high storage potential and is meant to be experienced, tasted and enjoyed slowly.

Of course, it is possible to give the wines online via Wines of Eden as gifts to family, friends, acquaintances or business relations.

Riedenweine are complex, long-matured wines with high storage potential. They reflect the unique characteristics of their specific locations and bring out the individual qualities that are shaped by both terroir and climatic influences.

The Ried Dechant is located at about 260 to 320 meters above sea level in the north of Langenlois. The deep loess soils provide optimal water supply to the vines. Thanks to the southeastern orientation, the site is protected from the wind, ensuring even ripening of the grapes.
