Half of Cava Brut Reserva “Blue Festival” – Castillo Perelada

 8,65

Peralada, a small village in the northeastern corner of Catalonia, is located at the foot of the Pyrenees and near the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to the beautiful nature, the village also has the castle. This castle is where the beautiful Perelada winery is located. In 1923, this castle was bought by Miguel Mateu.

His mission was to revive the passion for wine that had existed here before. Today, Javier Suqué – grandson of the founder – combines these old traditions with many new, modern techniques.

Of course, it is possible to give the wines online via Wines of Eden as gifts to family, friends, acquaintances or business relations.

Please feel free to contact us to hear about the possibilities.

Perelada Brut Reserva is made from the three typical cava grapes, namely Macabeo, Xarel lo and Parellada. The cava has a light yellow colour. Thanks to the ageing in the bottle, the cava has fine tones of fruit. The cava is elegant and already tastes rich.

Cava is a sparkling wine, which is developed with a special wine technique called, Metodo Tradicional. In broad terms, this is the same wine technique with which champagne is made. Cava has fully proven its place and its own identity on the international wine market: the local grape varieties, the warm climate and the direct surroundings of the vineyards all contribute to the unique character of the wine. Worldwide, Cava is the most sold wine after Champagne.
